Miss Sullivan's class is beginning to learn about weather. We are learning about the different types of weather and how weather can determine what activities we can do. You can help by telling us what your favorite type of weather is and why. We would love to hear from you and we hope to share more through our own projects in the next few weeks.

My favorite type of weather is when the seasons are changing: I love a bright spring day when the flowers are just beginning to show above ground, as well as a brisk fall day when there's just a bit of chill in the air and the leaves are starting to change. 26. I have two favorite types of weather -- hot and sunny with a nice breeze coming off the water, I call that "beach weather," and warm sunny days like we have in the fall in Alabama. (Emily F.)

28. I love all different types of weather because of all the different activities we can do. Here in Jacksonville, Florida, warm sunny days mean fun activities at the beach during every month of the year. We do not have many cold days. During certain times of the year we experience hurricanes. We are fortunate the meteorologist can tell us when they are coming. The skies turn dark, the wind blows in crazy directions, and the rain comes down in heavy amounts. We are oftern stuck in our homes for several days when they come, but they are neat to watch when we are safe. I like changing weather so we travel in the winter time to the mountains of North Carolina where we get to see the weather in a different form. We see the leaves change color and the snow fall.
